BIOGRAPHY

Aboudia is a renowned Ivorian artist known for his vibrant and expressive paintings. He was born in 1983 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. As a child, Aboudia discovered his passion for art and began drawing at a young age. He found solace and a means of expression in art during the turbulent years of civil unrest and political instability in his country.

 

Aboudia’s talent was quickly recognized, and he received formal art training at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Abidjan. His early works were heavily influenced by street art and graffiti, incorporating bold colors and energetic brushstrokes. These powerful visual elements became his signature style.

 

In 2011, Aboudia gained international recognition when his artwork caught the attention of art collectors and galleries in Europe and the United States. His paintings often depict the experiences of children and reflect the realities of war, violence, and urban life in Africa.
